The Karma Karma Christmas Lunch breaks the loneliness. We set up a single table where everyone is welcome: young, old, exuberant, shy, it doesn't matter.
Who is welcome?
We consciously mix generations, cultures and personalities.
Diversity makes the party complete.
1 Elderly people who would otherwise be alone
People who may no longer have family nearby
or no one to celebrate with
2 People without Christmas plans
Students far from home, new Amsterdammers, or just
anyone who needs connection.
3 Anyone looking for a table or wanting to help
Literally anyone who doesn't want to spend Christmas alone
and is open to new encounters
What do we need? Extra hands!
Volunteers for cooking, serving, setting up, and taking down. Every pair of hands is welcome.
