What does a Soup-at-home day entail?

The Soup-at-Home Days are held weekly at a fixed time and last approximately 2-3 hours. We expect you at the designated starting time at the distribution point. Upon arrival, we'll warmly welcome you and explain everything about the program. You'll visit the elderly at home with a fresh soup and provide company. The elderly will often invite you to join them for a cup of coffee, a walk, or to do something together. All information will be provided a few days before the event.

Why do we organize Soup-at-home days?

With our Soup-at-Home Days, we reach the elderly who need company the most. Through local GPs, physiotherapists, your local supermarket, and many other supporters, we reach a large group of vulnerable elderly people. Your smile, friendly chat, or brief moment of connection can make a world of difference for our elderly.

P.S. Do you work full-time and can't make it during the day? You can always register and schedule a visit with the senior, for example, in the evening. Seniors are eager to visit, so it's very valuable to help!
